• Account details: Name, email address, phone number, business name, address, NTN/Tax ID, and optional business logo.
• Business data: Client profiles, invoices, amounts, line items, and transaction statuses you create.
• Technical data: Basic device information, OS version, and anonymous crash telemetry necessary for app stability.

2How We Use Your Data

Your information is used strictly to power your business workflow:

• To operate your account and generate professional PDF invoices displaying your business information.
• To send transactional notifications such as sign-up verification, security notices, and password resets.
• To provide responsive customer support and maintain system reliability.

3Device Contacts Permission

If you choose to use the 'Import from Contacts' feature on your phone, BillShare reads only the specific contact you select to populate their name and phone number. We never upload, scrape, index, or store your entire address book.

4Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal or business data. Invoices and receipts are shared only when you explicitly choose to dispatch them (via WhatsApp, email, or direct download). We rely on industry-standard secure cloud infrastructure providers solely for hosting database servers and sending transactional communications.

5Data Retention & Account Deletion

Your billing history is maintained as long as your account remains active. You can request complete account deletion at any time directly through the app or by contacting our team. Following a 14-day security grace period, all your records are permanently purged.

6Security & Encryption

All network traffic is encrypted using industry-standard TLS / HTTPS protocols. Passwords and sensitive authentication tokens are salted and hashed. We implement regular security reviews to safeguard your data.

7Your Rights

You retain full ownership of your customer and financial records. You have the right to access, export, modify, or permanently delete your data at any time.
